Before, Gail

Like “Gail” force winds,
You stormed in…
But didn’t leave?
So many others have before.

Like Godly strength,
You helped me find
The meaning of it all.
No one else has before…

Like motherly love,
You embraced me,
Offered me shelter…
Where was this all before?

Like caring confidant,
You encouraged me
To accept it all…
I wish I had known before!
