Before Devices

   He had something to say
     committed it to memory
   Savored it on the way
home at the end of the day

Sat down to write it out
tears welled up from his heart
Whatever it was had flown away
nothing left to do but pray

Aw poor fella! Before devices we really did travel like pirates with a map! And in grade school we’d write love notes and pass them behind teachers back! Aaaah the memories!
