Bees of Summer

Busy bees work hard
To gather garden pollen.
I enter to forage
There are vegetables to pick
They attack mercilessly--stung!

You must have been very sweet Linda, Bees don't normally attack unless provoked. Hope you didn't suffer many stings. Tom

So, there may have been a bit of hyperbole in the poem. I was only stung once, but man, it hurt! Thank you for the comment. Linda
