Bees and Flowers
Reciprocity between bees and flowers
pollinates plants and feeds the pollinator.
Busy bees buzzing over flowery fields
collecting pollen and drinking nectar yields.
In the hive, the queen and drones share intimacy
and await workers returning to the colony.
Nectar inversion into honey provides food,
For apiarists to harvest, and larvae to consume.
Vegetation flourishes with this interaction:
providing oxygen, sustenance, and protection.
And flowers enjoyed in a natural environment
are grown by floriculturists for beauty and fragrance.
