I remember when you were with me,
and our love was still brand new

Makes me want to cry...

It was great back then,
We were both so young, we thought
our love would never ever end,

Guess our song ran out of rhyme.

that you wanted someone new,

I want you to know,
You were the one for me
I never wanted you to go

I keep going to the places we used to go
You're always with me in my mind
I wish I could move on, but,
the memories just won't fade
I still love you so much, I can't
believe you never  stayed!

I write quite a few song too, being we're kindred lyricists. You're very free spirited in sharing your songs. Unlike you, I'm very protective of mine ... they're like my poetic children.
