Been a long long time Deja Vu I remember when you were with me, and our love was still brand new Been a long, long time... Makes me want to cry... It was great back then, We were both so young, we thought our love would never ever end, Been a long, long time... Guess our song ran out of rhyme. Deja vu I remember, when you told me, that you wanted someone new, Been a long, long time... Can't get you off my mind. I want you to know, You were the one for me I never wanted you to go Been a long, long time... Can't get you off my mind Bridge I keep going to the places we used to go You're always with me in my mind I wish I could move on, but, the memories just won't fade I still love you so much, I can't believe you never stayed! Deja vu I remember the times we came here, and our love was still brand new, Been a long, long time Can't get you off my mind Been a long, long time... Beautifully sad song, John. You are such an exceptionally talented songwriter. Every time I read one of your lyric poems, my muse gets inspired. I write quite a few song too, being we're kindred lyricists. You're very free spirited in sharing your songs. Unlike you, I'm very protective of mine ... they're like my poetic children. You have a great God-given talent. I loved this song very much. Splendid lyric poetry. Love and joy always.

I like the repeat of been a long, long time. It brings the reader back to it well. The longing and memory is felt. :)
