Bedtime Reflections

Just as the dew in early day,
As the robins in their nests lay,
Like the grass nestled beneath the ground,
Like the leaves laying still to be found,
As bees sit gently on petals sweet,
As the hair which dried Christ's feet,
Like rain drops on window panes,
Like memories inside picture frames,
My heart rests gently in love.
My mind rests gently in serenity.
My soul rests gently in saving grace.
