Bedroom Thrills

He saw me, it was ‘love’ at first sight
sadly for him it was just love for the night
I’m flattered by your strategic skills
but after the bedroom thrills
I’m gone out of sight
You thought You had me
but i went and changed my mind
Your left without me
you didn’t even put up a fight
I hardly care, Im left here still
after the bedroom thrills
I ran out of your life

Hello Rosie, that was a horrible thing to happen to this person. That person will find it hard to trust. Have a nice evening my friend.

I feel that one night stands are common, I don’t disagree with the concept. However if one gives you the idea that your more then just sex to them and leave, that’s where I feel the wrong doing is done here. It happens all to much x

I guess he was a one-night stand man. (They're a dime a dozen at the man-stand, I hear...). ~ Gershon

One night stands are all too common now, I don’t disagree with them, just when you are lead that he likes you back, you don’t think that it would be just a one night thing. Hope you enjoyed the read.

Rosie, welcome to Soup! I like the poem but I detest the man who caused you to write it. Anyone who would treat a woman in this manner is cruel, uncaring, egotistical, a coward, and not really a man at all. Hold your head high, girl. It was not your fault at all.

I feel like every person can relate to a one night stand, or the confusion of being mislead by the person you are interested in whether they want more or not. Thank you for your words and thoughts, I’m truly okay, he is the one who is missing out.

Rosie~ one Nighters are not unusual as you know.Perhaps I am wrong, I really don't know. Some make us bitter, some make us glow. I appreciate your honesty so much. Panagiota

This poem is based on when I was seeing someone, where it was supposed to be more then a one night stand but once I slept with him, he left. He only wanted that one night, yet lead on he wanted more

You have written a heartfelt honest poem, in such a spectacularly matter-of-fact way, but the reader can glean the hurt between the lines, Rosie. Well done!
