My intention would never be to harm you
or to cause you any undue stress.
My heart has a mission
a sort of a quest.
This mission isn't anything grand
or extraordinary,
It simply is to reach for the stars
and to behold their radiance.
To see the dazzling semblance
of beauty.
To breathe in the cleansing
air of midnight.
To understand my place
to never abuse that right.
But to love others
to absorb their beauty
and maybe we can
reflect
off
of
one another.
Maybe we can sparkle
with light.
