Bed

I crawl out of bed, The comfy one with the amazing blankets, A secure place to hold all my secrets. Then I continue on. Every day, this bed swallows me up, Lulls to sleep with its soft touch, And spits me out to take on another day. It's hard to do. There are days I want to stay in bed, To never leave; Give up like the world gave up on me. I never falter. A magnificent thought brings me back to life; "You must keep living on". So I let the bed spit me out, And I take on another day.
