Because You Love Me

I was living in the darkness when you came. I was filthy, unworthy, full of shame. Heart marked with sorrow, brokenness and blame. Crippled; no direction; completely lame. I heard You knocking but I didn’t let You in. I ignored You when You were calling my name. You said You have something better for me. I refused to listen and lived in my own way. Despite what I’ve done, You have forgiven me. You touched my heart and You let me feel and see That love I don’t deserve, but You let me feel anyway. Not because I love You, but Jesus, because You love me. To be precious in Your eyes secured me from the enemy. I was lost but You found me and bless me day by day. You’re teaching me how to walk with You in every way. That joy You bring makes me live in an extraordinary way.
