Because You Live In a Beautiful Country
I have captured your tender nose
imbibe the goodness of low mountain breeze
your shy eyes sparkle in the morning sun
because you live in a beautiful country
You have whistled at midday like the preened weaver
strolling in the orchard, planting your nose in the flowers
expressing the patience to wait for the berries in a fortnight
You're sure of that, for you live in a beautiful country
A rainy day is as good as sunshine
the dew feels good to the nerves of the soul
With its open arms, the Sea keeps the sky hopeful
the sands remain ever fresh like your smile
because you live in a beautiful country
A beautiful dress you have
modest for a feline frame
modernity that hems in the spirit
You walk the earth with a spring
because you live in a beautiful country
This happiness is soul deep
its wired to the flesh
blue sorrow regards you
with green envy
Smile and light your path to heaven
a desert rose shall become an angel
a beautiful country is part of the Kingdom
