Because of You and Me
You brighten the clouds
and sweeten the rain
My shelter in any storm
you wrap around me
To give me warmth
when I shiver
To give me air
so I can breathe
Because of you
I can be
You make me want to dance
when there’s no music
To dress up
when there’s nowhere to go
To smile
while daydreaming
To sigh
as I fall asleep
Because of you
I can be me
My heart sings in tune
more than my voice ever could
