BECAUSE OF YOU

BECAUSE OF YOU

Because of you, my nights no longer search for the lost dawns,
I've learned to breathe in the darkest world that doesn't hold you,
where my loneliness pulses, torn open, with your name,
if my shadows have begun to glow from remembering your light —
isn't it enough to drown in you the way the moon drowns in the sea?

Because of you, happiness is no longer a place — it's a mercy,
it falls over me like a sudden rain on a dying desert,
like a whispered prayer that finally breaks the gates of the weeping sky,
if my whole being has become a ritual of searching for you —
let my heart still remember where its own center lies.

Because of you, my heart has completely forgotten the language of this world,
it stopped beating — it's a hollow drum in the rhythm of your breathing,
carrying the scent of a storm I never want to escape,
if every exhale of mine is just another way of calling you back —
isn't it enough to exist only for the beating of your heart?

Maybe He carved me from the dust of stars that burned out through eternity,
but when He lit the fire in my chest, He filled it with your broken pieces,
I am a vessel of clay — and yet I carry a love that won't die inside me,
one that only ignites when you breathe somewhere close to me —
isn't it enough to die a thousand times and be reborn inside you?

Because of you, the ground beneath me has turned to white mist,
I'm no longer a man who walks — I'm vapor drifting against its will,
something weightless, lost between earth and sky, trembling,
held in place only by the silent gravity of your presence —
isn't it enough to disappear completely into the shadow that is you?

Because of you, my scars have turned into windows,
the pain no longer bites — it sings, like a violin in agony,
it's the sublime torment of being emptied inside so that you might be whole,
if my madness is the only thing that's keeping me alive —
isn't it enough to lose my mind just to find your soul?

*Tell me if the first thought belongs to you and the last breath is your name,*
*if my "eternity" is a circle drawn around the place where you stand,*
*then tell me…*
*isn't it enough? isn't it enough?*
*isn't it enough to love you beyond time, beyond bone, beyond the edge of the world?*
