Because of You
Because of you I've learned to stop, think, and take a walk. Because of you I am growing to appreciate everything that happens to me, acknowledge, and love everyone for exactly the way they are. Because of you I will never drive with my emotions, and I will always be vigilant. Because of you I am achieving goals which I didn't even know I had. But why did it take your death for me to prove to myself that I can do all of that? Because of you the end is not so scary, it's almost a welcoming hope. Because of you I welcome physical pain over mental any day. Because of you I don't refrain from allowing myself to feel and process pain. Because of you I am morphing into the person I am meant to be, I'm just sad you are not physically here with me to see.
