Because of Jesus
Because of Jesus I’ve been redeemed
Because He loves me so
Because of Jesus I’m full of joy
That no one can ever know
He carried me through the wilderness
He protected me from all harm
He rocked me like a baby
In His safe and secure arms
Because of Jesus my soul will live forever
I have a home on high
One day I’ll be sitting at his feet
Way up in the sky
Because of Jesus I know grace and mercy
They’re personal friends of mine
They are there whenever I need them
They’re with me all the time
Jesus gave His life for me
On an old rugged cross
And three days later he arose
So my soul would not be lost.
So I celebrate His birth today
With you, my family and friends
And thank God for blessing all of us
In Jesus’ Holy name
