Because I love you
I will wait for you
I will wait until the oceans no longer sway
Or until the stars stop glistening in the moonlit sky
Perhaps I’ll wait until the Universe’s flame stops breathing
And daylight no longer exists
An eternity I would wait just for you
When my wait finally comes to an end
I will care for you like no other
Like an angel I shall protect you from harm
And like the lyrics to a song shall I tell your story
Because I love you
You hold the key to my heart and I hold yours
Only can we unlock each other’s souls
The sincerity of our journey is unquestionable
Conversations never get old and everyday is new
You and I
We are not perfect
But our flaws is what pulls us together
We share laughter and memories
Never looking back on the hard times
Together we are one in a universe meant for millions
