Because I Love You
my mind runs wild....
with thoughts of you,
i stay up late remembering...
your sweet caresses
i dream of the time we spend together
now and in the past
your scent clings to everything...
casting me off in daydreams of bliss
as i lay alone in bed...
i sink into an emptiness without you
but warmth spreads from-
the tips of my toes to the ends of every strand of hair
because i love you
and i'd go crazy without it
as i think of you, i shiver with delight
in a pile of blankets i wait
because i know you'll be back
i crawl out and run into your open heart
to smother you in my love
because i love you
now and forever...
