Because I Felt the Need

I would liked to have had the chance to comment on a post, but that was impossible by the author who is engrossed in pointing out Democrat's flaws, but I'm not shocked. So, I wrote this rebuttal because he has me blocked. (Or maybe he turned off commenting because.... ?) This political observance was posted on the site today. I read it hoping to see something worthy it had to say, but it was just another brow beating upon Democrats. It's become a ridiculous civil war between crats and rats. It must be quite a burden to constantly wear a blindfold and believe Trump's lies to write something so bold. This poet thinks the insurrection claim is out of hand, but the insurrectionist's crimes he doesn't understand. Yes, parents need to know what lessons are being taught, He claims it's not Trump's fault, but if the truth is sought, Biden can't be blamed either. He didn't hire the teachers. Trump still cries, "Foul" to those who sit in his bleachers. Drugs, crime, and border security, Trump couldn't control, not when Trump was Pres, an office he says Dems stole. I don't belong to either political party but on it I'll speak... Neither one of these men are fit for the office they seek. I'm permitting comments because it's everyone's right to do so as long as they're not offensive and rude.

Thank you for your insight, Nancy. There are times we have to stand up and speak out against what is so blatantly wrong. I understand my opinion differs from many, but I can voice it without starting a riot, and hold fast to integrity. That's something many give up in a knockdown, drag out fight. You're right about it being a moral issue, and that's worth defending. I appreciate your comments very much.

Jenna, I am with you here! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is America! I really hate politics because of the division is causes especially when folks stoop to cheap insults rather than try and discuss in a civil manner and perhaps reach understanding!! Anyway, Happy Saturday xxoo

Thank you very much, Elizabeth. There are many 'weird ideas' and weirdos around. This guy is just another one. As long as he doesn't offend anyone or get nasty, his thought can stay. That exposure will not serve him well.

I concur, unless it's about a man, dressed as a woman or age inappropriate books trying to sexualize our children in that classroom, that otherwise would have created a mob of a thousand burning pitchforks only 5 years ago. Does anyone remember 1984?

Make America great with hate? Border security? Just look at the millions of dollars wasted on Trump's Border Wall, which is a total (and expensive) flop - as was obvious to everyone familiar with the border when "genius" Trump planned it! Like Trump remedies for COVID-19, etc. Dr. Oz says that people who vote for Fetterman should have their driver's license revoked, proving the GOP today is nothing like the GOP of Bob Dole! Aloha!

I've been looking, but some people wear blinders to what he's done to tear the country apart. BUILD A WALL... as if no one could climb over it or go around it. Wouldn't it be great if all political discourse was poetic? Instead of rants and slurs, people would slow down and actually think to air an opinion, like this clearly does. Wow, political ads would all be Limericks, and speeches all in rhyme! Thanks, Jenna, this is a clever retort and inspires me to think up a Limerick or two.

That would be a welcome change to the harassing and pointed fingers that are taking place now. Since you mentioned it, here's a limerick you might like:Donald Trump's pouty lips must be swollen/ from screaming, "The election was stolen!"/ How pitifully he cries/ Every time he denies/ No one can end his rant with consolin'..
