Because I Am Black

Black is the color of my hair not my mind... My mind is colorful I may be black but my future is shining brighter like the rays of the sun I am a black African child, nothing can ever change that... The African spirit within my soul will never died The color of my skin doesn't define who I am.. I was born black I will died black Black is beautiful Black is intelligent I never been in Africa I was born and raised in Africa A woman from Africa is my mother A man from Africa is my father A child from Africa is my brother Africa unite and conquer Home is not where we live Home is where we belong Africa my home Africa my joy Africa my spirit Africa my roots Africa my song Africa my poem Africa my continent Africa my jungle I am a black African child with a passion of changing my continent Not my skin color Not my hair color I am a black African child with a colorful soul and mind
