Because of you
I could dream of
Far away places
And a far away life.
Because of you
My life had meaning
And I felt I made a
Difference in yours.
Because of you
I was inspired to be
A better wife, a better
Friend, a better writer,
A better human being.
And because of you, I
Know that even though
You're not around anymore,
I will still feel you in my heart
And I will be a better person
For having known you.
