Because.....
I love you because your smile always brightens my day
I love you because you always seem to know exactly what to say
I love you for the way you hold me, secure, warm, and tight
I love you for our conversations, as we lay in our beds at night
I love you because your bold, when no one else will tell me so
I love you because your honest, and tell me what I need to know
I love you because of your understanding, in who I am and how I believe
I love you because you always seem to give, not always take and receive
I love you for the way you love your son, and the joy I see in you, as you watch him grow
I love you for your strong will and how you believe in yourself, and believe in what you know
I love you because I feel your protection, there in your bubble of life
I love you because you speak to me, of one day becoming your wife
I love you because even though we are far apart, you still seem to care
I love you because when you say "I love you", I feel you are here, not way up there
I love you for your laugh, it is so contagious you see
I love you when you make me laugh, it makes my soul so free
I love you for all that you go through, yet still manage to smile again and again
I love you for all that you have come from, where you stand now, but also for where you
have been
I love you for your hugs and kisses, and your hand wrapped in mine
I love you most of all, for who you are, because who you are is who I dreamed you to be
So on this day of love, in celebration of me and you,
I wish you the best Valentine's Day, I only wish I could be there to share it with you.
