Because

Because I said so...
words uttered from a mothers mouth,
stressed and tired from a day at work.

Because I can't...
words uttered from a child mouth,
realization of youth and limits from the child like wonder of innocence.

Because I know I'm right...
words uttered from one doubtful lover to another,
arising many questions, demanding many explanations.

Because I love you...
words uttered from hundreds, no thousands, no millions of mouths,
all yearning to have the point accepted and then dropped.

Because I said so...
words spoken to end a love affair,
full of passion and hopes,
dashing all into dust waiting for the gale force winds of change to sweep them
away.
