Because today is another day
Because yesterday has gone away
Because I am here and you are there
Because for you yes I truly care
Because everyone is now one day older
Because of all of the tears I've cried amongst your shoulder
Because the next second in my life isn't promised
Because the words you give are painfully honest
Because there is no wrong when your name is spoken
Because your weary taunts of love keeps my heart unbroken
Because never again will I feel this way
Because flowers bloom best in the month of May
Because
of this
I tell you dear friend
that I Love You and I pray that this friendship never ends.
