Beauty's Encore

Caught amid this whirlwind
Which arrived so very quickly
Rushing skies and swirling tides
A lifetime dotting about
Lonely streets ?
Running from door unto door
In search of love's heart...
Silhouettes aneath lamp post
Smoke coloured lights; white fangs
Waking up one day, a noteful claim
Rose parades; left upon bended knee
Where blood did flow, atop crystal ware...
Her beauty; lingering now, time's shooting star.

Very well penned John, among your best I would say. Then again I don't think I have ever read one I thought was 'Bad".
