Beauty Within
So far I know that the truth in
me
Tells me that it's so tangled
with the love I have for myself
and for my wife
She has lifted me when I had
doubt
I questioned where I was and
where I'm going
But she's there to hold me
tightly and say your great
I believe in you and will be by
your side everywhere you go
Without this I know I could not
do what I've done
Learning everyday to use my
voice for the good
To fight for GLBT rights and
social work justice
Those mean the world
We are here for a reason and
purpose
I didn't know before
I have grown to be aware
The beauty we hold within will
Keep us fighting and growing
For a cause bigger than
ourselves
Fight the fight and I shall talk
the talk
