Beauty Transcending

From my window I watched, enthralled
as feathery fliers fell and lay sprawled.
Safe from the heated warmth of me,
a flock of snowflakes in Winter flurry.
Ice crystals afloat, serenely descending.
Each one unique; beauty transcending
