Beauty Personified

When first, in dawn's waking, I drank of your maternal glow, the shadows lifted from my heart, the veil of clouds from my mind; the dawning light upon my brow indelibly bestowed the knowledge you are all I ever need from womankind. I long with an ache, an impulse driven far beyond pain to tell you of your beauty, of the gifts you lay down at my feet, of the love and acceptance selflessly proffered over and over again; your words and thoughts descend on me deliverance so sweet. You have filled dark chambers of my heart with super nova light, you have calmed and crushed my fears, dried the tears I have cried, you are all I ever dreamed of as you stand, this perfect sight of womanhood, a paradigm of beauty personified.
