Beauty of the Night

In the black skies of night
A bright pearl sits high
A glowing white light
Across the dark sky

The deep black shadows
During the night hour
Are like evil hallows
Many now cower

Looking up to the dark sky
There is a beautiful sight
Seeing a black bird fly
Across the white light

Now the sun begins to rise
And with the loss fright
Beginning to realize
The beauty of night
