There's beauty in the simple things
A little wink and smile
More valuable than diamond rings
For yours I'd crawl a mile
To catch your eye, to sit with you
There's nothing that I wouldn't do
For what they say is oh, so true
There's beauty in the simple
A Christmas poem just for me
You took the time, it came to be
Your words a written melody
So beautifully simple
