Beauty In The Falling Rain

The rain on this Fall day is like grieving,
over deaths and the end of innocence;
leaves fluttering away like the departed,
oh, but rest your heart for beauty awaits.

Feel the raindrops kiss your face with love,
see the beauty all around in all the hues;
the rain is washing away all the sorrow,
let it cleanse you and make you new.

Take a walk and listen to the music of rain,
it will turn your sadness into acceptance;
and your grieving into living your life,
letting go does not mean you did not love.

Let this rainy day calm your spirit and soul,
sit and watch it falling on your window;
nature is amazing and full of wonder,
find the beauty in rain-  let go of the negative.
