Beauty In Darkness
She passed through a portal, gingerly and then all at once.
Baby steps guide her through darkness, a symphony of shadows
There is beauty beyond brightness, beyond colored light,
Beyond happy and healthy and full of might.
There is beauty in grim words and eyes of tears,
There is beauty in facing your darkest fears.
