Beauty

I love your lashes
I love your hair
I count them daily
To check they're still there

I love your smile
I hope you know
There's love in my heart
Set to overflow

I see past the shadows
I know who you are
You light up my world
In my sky you're the star

And when you are quiet
Let there be no shame
If I cannot sit with you
Hear me whisper your name

For the world may not let you
Be that spirit, so free
So let me hug you and tell you
You're a beauty to me.
