Beauty

Senses now hinge
Upon thoughts strange,
A sensuous tinge
Fronts beauty's range.

Strange as strange seems
Upon odd spark,
A lovely theme
Confronts sure mark.

Beauty knows best
The arc of wit,
For in the quest
Blunt fest can fit.

So many chimes
Where beauty glows,
Now we seize times
In sensuous flow.

Autumn brines fling
Of lavish daze,
Cold chill now springs
In icy craze.

Beauty must sleep
In wintry rhymes,
Here thoughts now peep
In sleepy times.

By foot paths lost
In sweeping cold,
Odd scenes now cost
What dreams unfold.
