Beautifully Stained

You walked in, and lay your eyes on the pillows of my cheeks
they rested in the confidence of what you do to me
I was blank, empty and naked with expectation.
Knowing only that I'll be forever changed
by a stroke of loving genius,
caressing the potential I embody
you dressed me with the colors of your feeling.

When you finished, you married this moment
keeping it alive I now bear your name
holding your world up like a mirror
it is your painting I became.

Thanks for sharing this... Welcome to PS. Meanwhile, I welcome you with the love of God. According to the Bible's John 3:16,"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
