Beautifully Scarred Girl
Let me put you at ease, I know you've had it hard, girl
You've been with the wrong guys, and they broke your heart, girl
You trusted them, and they ripped you apart, girl
That's why you're the beautifully scarred girl
Sadness in your eyes, You don't want it to show, but it's hard to Ignore
It's nice to dream, so we can see a picture before we start the jigsaw
But after so many heartbreaks we tend to lose sight and give up
It breaks my heart that you're crying alone asking yourself if you did enough
You cry at home, and your pillow receives those tears
You're trying to be brave and leave your fears
Every night you feel that your bed is colder to lie on
You just need a shoulder to cry on
You've been hurt one too many times
Now you're scared to get close to any man
You think we've all got one thing on our mind
Cause you've fell so many times, but no one helped you to land
I wish I could erase the pain of your past
But I can only show you I want to make your future better
Put the Vodka down, you will only find more pain in a glass
When the world tears you apart, Find a way to keep yourself together
You're looking for a way to survive, cause you've had it hard girl
You want to carry on, but don't know where to start girl
You survived it all, so you have a strong heart Girl
Just remember you're the beautifully scarred girl
