Beautiful You

I can read you like a book,
I'm all too familiar with that look.

You've been lonely for way too long,
I know you aren't feeling very strong.

You held on until you couldn't anymore,
To someone who walked out the door.

Hating yourself cause you knew better,
He never believed in forever.

You fell in love again last night,
And woke this morning alone, right?

In your eyes I see the little girl,
That loved to dance and twirl.

I wish that you could see,
Worthless is something you'll never be.

All the shame and pain can go away,
You don't have to cry every day.

So turn around, you're not too far,
To change you mind, be who you are.

All those nights and days,
Can all be washed away.

By the One who's strong,
He can right your wrongs.

He will rid you of your fears,
He will dry every last tear.

Show you you're a flawless pearl,
Again you'll see through eyes of a little girl.
