Beautiful Tonight

Tonight,
Shadows are like,
A veil of calmness,
Swathing the mind,
A peaceful aura,
The knots untwined.

Palpable darkness,
Stroking the skin,
Almost too passionately,
We’re akin.

Flows the tender breeze,
Ushering the spirit,
Drifting it away,
The heart is then,
Free of any fray.

Sweet air gushes in, 
So the aroma of night bloom,
Pure emotion flows in,
And the let out of gloom.

Heart that longed to fly,
Dive in,
Into the sky,
Touching the stars,
With all its might,
Oh so beautiful,
Tonight.
