Beautiful Old Soul

Born into a cold world
She was always misunderstood
Her thoughts she kept to herself
For they were always unconventional

The love and compassion she beared
A child could never know
It would take years to master
The love she had to share

Wise beyond her years
You could see it in her eyes
The passion she possesed inside
Stemmed from her lifetimes of the past

Barely just a woman outside
So innocent and so young
She offered many lessons
That others had yet to live

She radiated such a light
Like a lighthouse to a sailor
If ever you were lost at sea
Just look to her to guide you

To meet her was an honor
For you just knew she was something pure
She held inside that soul of hers
Wisdom and divinity of her lifetimes of before

She was definitely an old soul
Sent in time to touch each new life
To help those lost in darkness
So that they may know the light
