Beautiful Girl

Beautiful girl, blue eyes and golden hair 
Where have you been while I looked high and low
I know that we have feelings we could share
I long to tell you that I love you so
          Do you know that I exist in this world
That my ambition is to hold your hand
Ah, but how could you - we have not yet met
But I can picture a small golden band
On that finger with a diamond set
One that is fit for a beautiful girl
