Beautiful Ghost
I feel such empathy when I look at you,
I see the pain you're going through,
I hardly know you, you hardly know me,
But we acknowledge each other silently,
Your face disgraces your usual smile,
And for a second I wish I could have it awhile,
The envied are so often the ones envying most,
The beautiful faces underneath, are the ghosts,
Scary, the masks we work hard to build,
Crumble like ruins of a wicked King's guild,
I hope all is well, that you'll be alright,
That sleep will come to you peacefully tonight,
And when life is cloudy, remember, dear one,
There are people around you to bring out the sun.
