Beautiful Features

Eyes seen as pools of honey;
Sticky, sweet, and somber they aren’t.
Their tears fall like melted caramel down to her chin.
Blink too fast and you’ll miss their light.

A smile so inviting, you would think it was trying to give you a hug.
Lips so flushed, soft, and, plumped; calling my name.
The sound such a whisper, yet it could be heard through every ear around the world.

Her voice was my favorite;
So full, yet so angelic.
Whether she was singing or not;
I imagine that the world stops when she sings,
But time runs backwards when she just speaks.

Very descriptive. I like your word choice as it has a nice flow. My favourite is the last line: But time runs backwards when she just speaks. I think that it implies that when she speaks, she speaks of the past. When she sings, she sings about the future. Nicely written!
