Beautiful Earth

Reading and enjoying a brisk winter's night, when, like birds, my thoughts take sudden flight over color-washed meadows, lilac hills, golden-red forests, a guest to Earth's thrills. If all could see Earth's beauty from above, We would guard her wonder, treasure her love.

I have always thought so, Ann, but since the astronauts have given us exquisite pictures of our planet from space, I have not seem any appreciable change in most people's attitudes. Good writing!

I was thinking more bird's eye view, but I've read some of the astronauts come back feeling a strong desire to save Earth after seeing her beauty and vulnerability. I hope so! Thanks for your comments, Milton :)
