Beautiful Bright Butterflies

Vibrant jeweled butterflies
flutter in bright azure skies.
I’ll sit and watch them for hours
sipping nectar from flowers

Wings like fragile church stained glass
lift them on a zephyr breeze
Nature’s bounty can’t surpass
precious moments such as these
