Irridescent blue butterfly Amber stones polished like jewels Beautiful trinkets, baubles Preserved history clear to see Unearth the mystery past lives Speculate, theorize, think Hypothesis science Has some errors, oh no! Bomb shell of science, brainiac Giant insects ready to prey Eddy release the brain waves Thoughts seize and become ideas Theory to be tried, tested Calculated, repeated Advanced to proven facts Write poetic facts, forms Dead head cockroach canable Madagascar hissing roach Freaks of nature sure to fright Explore your science museum Facts finding days surely pleasing Intrigue, educate, stimulate Young minds need science facts Fun observatory!

I remember that day of delight...Those giant bugs were great then so many bugs to see...The architecture design computer and all that was so much fun..Have a great night ...Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..Elaine was not there tonight...They went on a trip for a few days..So see me sometimes in the next few days..Mom

When you think about it, Doris, the butterfly is one animal that can definitely lay claim to a past life -- as a caterpillar! I am not a fan of enimology, but studying insect behavior does stimulate young minds. Very interesting poem! Love, Carolyn
