Beautiful

BEAUTIFUL A woman’s soul has only one question.. am I beautiful? A girl princess in her favourite pink dress am I beautiful? No one calls us ugly or laughs in our face they just fail to answer am I beautiful? A glass slipper that never fit so not a Cinderella am I beautiful? Where is my fairytale or magic wand for pretending am I beautiful? Pain and rejection yearning for a hero to steal us away am I beautiful? Make believe it doesn’t matter to be seen and loved unconditionally am I beautiful? We were made to be known and loved deeply God made us to have life take our breath away we are BEAUTIFUL © Kim van Breda
