Beautiful

BEAUTIFUL
inside and out
WORTH more than she'll ever know
No doubt!
Conversation never lacking
Witty and SMART
Hesitant, but she'll take the risk
TRUSTING you to hold her heart
Count on her to be LOYAL
Despite tempation, she's all for you
If you crack her shell open
She'll be the SWEETEST girl you knew

But she's UNappreciated
Beat up & stepped on
Grabbed & thrown around
Raised up, just to be spat upon
And though there's occasional times
Loving words, she comes to hear
When she starts to hope again
She re-lives the same old fears

No, she's not worth loving
Not worth giving a serious chance
Just a girl you take for fun
But never for romance
You'll keep her for a little while
Just until you get bored of her
But in a second, you can drop it
And be completely done with her

I am BEAUTIFUL
inside and out
But I'll ALWAYS be
The girl you can live without

Tyesha Ehigiator January 25, 2009 at 8:17 PM I can feel your emotions so strongly in this poem, it is very painful to love someone and not have those feelings returned to you, and to be treated like you mean nothing..You need to look at yourself as being someone truly special and don't ever let anyone make you feel that your not. Know that you deserve better, find the strength to let them go and move on..This was beautifully expressed and well penned..Stay strong, God Bless*Tyesha
