Beau Licks his Neverlands

I had to make my escape quickly without fanfare
it is a wet day but that would not deter one of my pups from chasing me
Beau is a retriever, supposedly golden, but more white
He loves rain, being a water dog
I have already towel-dried him twice today
Beau loves that too!
He craves attention
Just like you, I tell my husband
Beau looks up from his licking and smiles
He is licking his Neverlands
Except I cannot do that, my husband replies
If you could, we could never have company again, I tell him
