Beating Heart

All my life I've earched a beating heart drawn near,
to shed me of this darkness, heavy laden inner fear.
A higher power has shown me the ugly colors of my face...
it is through grief and loss I have found serenity then grace.
A tower of beating hearts drawn near encourage me to add new color to the old...
thier memory and lesson I forever strive to hold.
Some people emulate a powerful impression felt,
softening me, causing my heart to melt.
For my heartache spiritual winds dry my tears and whisper of a safe place to
heal and face my fears...
I see my longing for the mountains to be that of a spiritual sign,
a comforter whispering that healing will be mine...
in my heart at last, the sun will shine...
