Beat Down
alone and hurting
weeping and crying
numb and dumbfounded
confused and lost-
nowhere to turn.
tears and sobs
screams and howls
silence and cold
pain and heartache-
life must be ended.
self-esteem is shredded
and lying in tatters-
why re-piece the pain;
no need to go on
no one will weep.
