Bear's Froggie

A token of affection
Not of great expense
But it meant so much
To receive this gift
It meant that he listens
It meant that he cares
It meant that he likes
Having me there

No diamond has he offered
No string of priceless pearls
But just a wee little froggie
Told me I was his girl
He gave it for the smile
That would light my face
The look in my eyes
Nothing can replace

Tomorrow might find us
In some other place
Today he made me happy
He knows he made my day
Something so very small
That I can carry it anywhere
To remind me of the man
That everyone calls Bear
